Almost Polar Bear Time!

The year was 2005, the first official Polar Bear ride in Green Bay, 8 die-hards showed up and had a great time! You know its fun when we still talk about the PB ride all season long. Year 1 saw fog and wet slushy roadways, what a blast! Raise a glass to the 8 pioneers of the PB!

Number 2, 2006, Mother Nature again makes her presence felt with a cold rainy day to ring in the New Year! Jo to Go provided some warm beverages to break up the ride, mountain bike, road bikes, and a fixie made the trip last year, any bike you want...just be ready to ring in the New Year on two wheels!!

As number 3 approaches, I truly hope to get a record number of riders, that is the big thing when organizing a ride...how many will show up? The Press-Gazette and maybe a TV station or two may pop in, hope we get enough riders to make it look OK...that is my only fear! So if you are on the fence, please...please...please.......show and have a good time with the rest of us! You will not be disappointed, just not possible!

The last question, will the Green Bay ride be bigger than the Milwaukee ride, I am betting YES.

See you all there!

It all starts here.....

The first post on the new Stadium Bike team blog, everything you need to know about the team and team happenings will be right here!

Race and ride updates, shop info will be found here, I will keep pro-deal offers on an email basis due to that not being anything the public needs or can know.

Please check this site often, and if you have anything you feel would be good for the team to see, let me know and I will be glad to post it for all to see.

How about that weather, how awesome would it be to have this weather for the Polar Bear Ride! Speaking of which...let's go 9am New Years Day at the shop parking lot. We will then ride towards downtown and maybe onto DePere, then eventually head back to the shop. I hope to see a lot of riders, we have had a great time the last two years, don't miss it. Bike choice truly depends on the weather, I will be aboard the sweet Bianchi mountain bike with the 1x7 gearing, knobby tires. Speeds are a rapid fun enjoyable pace that may get pushed from time to time, we do regroup as this is strictly a pleasure cruise!

Scroll down for the poll of week!
